Prof. Tian-Li Wu Invited to Speak at TECIF 2026 in Antwerp

Professor Tian-Li Wu of National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) has been invited to speak at the Taiwan–Europe Chip Innovation Forum (TECIF) 2026, to be held on September 9–10, 2026, at the Hilton Antwerp Old Town in Antwerp, Belgium.
Co-organized by imec and the Taiwan Semiconductor Research Institute (TSRI), TECIF 2026 brings together leaders from academia, research institutes, industry, and government to discuss emerging semiconductor technologies and strengthen collaboration between Taiwan and Europe.
Prof. Wu will deliver an invited presentation entitled:
“Advancing Wide-Bandgap Semiconductor Technologies through Academia–Research Institute–Europe Collaboration”
His presentation will highlight recent advances in wide-bandgap semiconductor technologies, particularly GaN- and SiC-based power devices, while discussing how partnerships among universities, research institutes, and European collaborators can accelerate semiconductor research, technology development, and talent cultivation.
Prof. Wu will join a distinguished group of international academic speakers, including:
Prof. Patrick Fay, Stinson Professor of Nanotechnology, Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Notre Dame
Prof. Wai Tung Ng, Professor, University of Toronto
Dr. Nazareno Donato, Assistant Research Professor, University of Cambridge
Their participation reflects the forum’s broad academic and technological scope and provides an important platform for exchanging ideas on next-generation semiconductor devices, circuits, and innovation ecosystems.
Prof. Wu looks forward to sharing NYCU and WLab’s research achievements, learning from international experts, and exploring new opportunities for long-term collaboration between Taiwan and Europe.
